For the Valley Soccer playoffs, we had chocolate cupcakes filled with a yellow marshmallow cream (the team's colors are blue & gold). They were topped with a chocolate buttercream and decorated with a soccer ball made from fondant.

Halloween Cupcakes for Scranton MMA
Thanks Renee Reese for capturing the subtle details on my cupcakes. The photos are fantastic.
The orange cupcakes are organic pumpkin with a ginger buttercream.
The chocolate cupcakes are filled with a marshmallow cream topped with melted swiss milk choc candy bars that hardened up to create a lovely texture for Halloween.
Decorations are made with fondant.

Athena's 2nd Party
My HD is full so uploading pics to blogger or my Lxathena page has become a challenge.
Athena loves Curious George. We were having her party at the Pumpkin patch and decided to do a Monkey & Fall Themed Party. The cake with the pumpkins on top was a pumpkin cake with a ginger buttercream icing.
The cupcakes were chocolate with a marshmallow cream filling and fudge frosting. Other cupcakes were pumpkin. The Monkey Cake was a chocolate cake with a nutella filling and nutella icing. YUM YUM!

Pumpkin Cake Bites
Instead of making Cake pops, I followed the same concept but made cake bites. It was a pumpkin cake with a ginger buttercream icing.

Cherry Cake
This was a special request.
"I want a cherry cake with vanilla pudding and cherry icing." "No nuts allowed."
I made a cherry cake. I pureed cherries and mixed them into the batter and then I placed whole cherries on top to bake. I made an old fashioned homemade vanilla pudding for the filling. For the frosting, I made a cherry infused whipped cream. In addition, I made a cherry reduction sauce to drizzle on top of the whipped cream.

Bear Smash Cake
This is a smash cake for a baby girl's first birthday. Her favorite toy is a stuffed bear. I first covered the two tiers in green fondant. Then, I placed a bear on top and draped a second covering of fondant over it, The two bottom cakes should remain in tact when/if the baby squishes the teddy bear, The cake is a funfetti cake and the bear's head is decorated in buttercream to appeal to a baby's instincts to get messy. lol
